I've been a bit busy, a touch frazzled & frankly don't have much to say right now. (I did try to post several times but they all fell victim [deservedly] to the delete button. I've always felt that one of the secrets to life is knowing what to cull & when. I haven't gotten it right yet, but I'm getting better. Trust me, I really am.) In lieu of a real post, here is one of my watercolor studies to look at instead of Pirate-Barbie ~ I simply can not continue to look at that Barbie woman at the top of my blog. (Honestly, I really did think she was cute at first, but after a while all I could think about was the movie Hustler White & it was starting to make me uncomfortable. I'm not going to elaborate on that, either you get it or you don't.)
As for the picture above ~ I'm fairly sure you are all thinking Howard Hodgkin (especially you George) but don't. Think Arthur Dove in the Punjab Hills.
