Mine too but it was even better five minutes earlier… By the time I grabbed the camera, scooted up to the attic, crawled over some boxes of junk & assumed my usual slightly precarious-dangling-out-the-window position, the clouds had started to pass over the moon. There was a point where the two just barely touched in a chaste kiss… (Well, it would have to be chaste; look how Actaeon ended up.) So amazing~ a real celestial convergence…
The profile photo… Actually, that's my old one & since I use it as my Gravatar image, I thought I should switch back. Someone also noted that in the new photo, I looked like a Freudian analyst about to lecture a patient. (In reality, I look just like a compact version of my Father, who was an electrician.)

"That’s what magic is, of course. Something that looks ordinary until it isn’t. Nothing but a hat, until a rabbit comes out of it. Meaning where you didn’t think to look, until you did. A miracle no one else can see, but you."

This is by far my favorite portrait of the moon. It is so beautiful.
Why, by the way, did you change your profile picture? I prefer the other one... hope all is well, L.

I can hardly believe it was better. I think it's pretty perfect... it's raining here today-- thinking about ghosts and furies-- as you know.
I really did prefer the other picture too.
Have a nice weekend,L
