It's Fashion Week…

There was a time when, as a designer, Fashion Week meant something to me, mostly because I was working in visual merchandising. As is the case with many Hollywood musicals, most of Funny Face looks a bit silly & dated now but this is still my favorite part of the movie, primarily because the art direction of this segment was done by Richard Avedon, as were the opening credits.

Also, there is Audry Hepburn…

I've never seen this movie -- this was a delight.

(I laughed aloud at the Opera House sequence: he tells her she's furious [Audrey, wearily, "What's happened now?"] and orders her to walk down that grand staircase "with fire in your eyes and murder on your mind!!" Then adds, "Wet your lips.")
